Tell us why you want to be on the Board of Directors.
Sambaer: “I would like to be on the Board of Directors to help in anyway I can to improve our industry. I think that I can be a good advocate for our industry and I can assist given my strong financial background.”
What do you think is the biggest current issue facing real estate agents?
Sambaer: “I think one of the biggest current issues facing real estate agents is an inadequate supply of housing in various price points including affordable housing.”
What do you believe makes you a qualified candidate for the Board of Directors?
Sambaer: “I believe that my years of service both on the GLAR Public Policy (currently serving as Chair) and Finance (currently serving as Vice Chair) gives me relevant experience in the issues facing the organization.
Also, I have been active in the local area as a mortgage professional going into my 20th year.”
In your opinion, what can the Association do to help agents or the real estate industry improve?
Sambaer: “In my opinion, the Association can assist agents or the real estate industry by working with policy makers and regional leaders to encourage development of homes that are in demand and affordable.”
