Fairhaven is an engaging 60-100 minute fair housing simulation that takes agents on an interactive and innovative journey.

In this experience, agents are put in the fictional town of Fairhaven, where they encounter a variety of ethical dilemmas related to fair housing, working with clients, and business practices. The agent must navigate these challenges by making decisions and facing the consequences of those decisions. Agents will also be put in the role of homebuyers facing discrimination.

Throughout and at the culmination of this learning adventure, the simulation provides individual, personal, and relevant feedback based on the various choices made and/or different pathways which provides opportunities for pause and reflection.

The Fairhaven Simulation is an online learning tool developed by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) to help real estate agents practice ethical decision-making in a simulated real estate scenario. The simulation is designed to provide agents with a safe environment to explore ethical challenges that they might encounter in the real estate industry.

By using the Fairhaven simulation, real estate agents can practice ethical decision-making and gain a better understanding of fair housing laws and ethical business practices, which can ultimately help them build trust with clients and contribute to a more ethical and professional real estate industry.
