Members who want to elevate their career and take designation or certifications (like the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) course) can apply for a REALTOR® Scholarship to help alleviate the cost of this designation.

The REALTOR® scholarship is awarded to 2 members annually. This scholarship awards up to $300 each.

GRI Designation

The Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI) is one of the most coveted designations for REALTORS® nationwide. It focuses on developing and increasing participants’ professionalism and skill set to strengthen both the value to consumers and the member’s bottom line. BONUS – Earn 90 hours toward obtaining your broker’s license!

The full GRI designation is broken down into 3 different courses.

  • GRI I: TBD
  • GRI II: TBD
  • GRI III: Online only

  • GRI I: $405
  • GRI II: $350
  • GRI III: $350

Scholarship Details! 

The scholarship shall be awarded based upon the following criteria:

• Application must be for a real-estate related course taken within the twelve months before/after the award has been granted.

• Applicant must be an active full dues-paying member of GLAR with a minimum of 12 months of active membership with GLAR.

• Applicant must demonstrate some service to GLAR in the form of membership on a GLAR committee, advisory group or task force, provided, however, that the applicant has attended and participated in the meetings held.

• Applicant must provide proof that the course was completed by attaching a certificate of successful completion for reimbursement, along with a receipt for the course (based on actual monies paid) to GLAR.

• Funds do not provide for meals or travel expense.

• Only one scholarship will be granted per member during their entire membership with GLAR.
