✅ Liam Richichi
Running for: East Lansing City Council
Brief Bio: My name is Liam Richichi, and I’m running for East Lansing City Council because I believe in a local government that listens, includes, and acts in a decisive manner to improve the lives of everyone in our community. A graduate from Michigan State University, majoring in Political Theory with minors in Business and Organizational Management, I’ve spent the last 8 years working at the intersection of public service, civic engagement, and community leadership; whether that be for local campaigns, congressional campaigns, or in our state capitol. Now, I’m ready to take that experience to the next level and serve the city that has helped shape who I am.
Top Priorities:
- 1. Ensure a responsive, energetic city council that actively listens to community concerns and is accessible.
- 2. Address the budget with sound fiscal leadership while addressing revenues and prioritizing essential services.
- 3. Drive down costs for citizens so new families can afford to live in our community
What do you want to say to REALTORS®: REALTORS® represent an essential part of our community and of the workforce. As a candidate for East Lansing City Council, I’m committed to fostering a housing landscape that’s fair, vibrant, and sustainable. One where REALTORS®, homeowners, and renters alike can thrive as part of a stronger, more inclusive community.
What does homeownership mean to you: To me, homeownership means independence, community, and placemaking. With strong neighborhood ties in our community, homeownership is an important part of our college town and offers balance to the rental industry in our community as well.
Be sure to vote in the election on November 4!
