Vision for GLAR
GLAR is more than a professional organization. It advocates for property rights and protects the integrity of our industry by educating members, upholding ethical standards, and fostering collaboration. I would like to see more REALTOR® involvement in our communities and make sure the REALTOR® brand continues to stand for trust, value, and professionalism.
Where They See the Industry Headed
The industry is becoming more fragmented, so staying relevant means knowing our craft and serving people at the highest, most personal level. Building trust, managing emotions, and negotiating effectively will matter more than ever.
What They Bring to the Board
As a former broker/owner, trainer, and mentor with previous board experience, I bring a perspective grounded in mentoring agents and running a brokerage.
Kellie Garrett
Oasis Realty
Vision for GLAR
GLAR is more than an MLS. It brings members together as a community and guides us through industry trends, laws, ethical issues, and technology, making us stronger as a unit than as individuals. I would bring business acumen, marketing experience, and a commitment to keeping members’ voices heard, balancing vision with realism.
Where They See the Industry Headed
Technology and AI will keep reshaping how consumers search and transact, so we need to demonstrate the value of trusted professionals. That means prioritizing education and standards, using technology as a tool rather than letting it use us, and staying engaged on housing affordability and inventory.
What They Bring to the Board
I bring experience as a business owner both inside and outside real estate, a background in corporate and small-business marketing, an MBA, and perspective from both large-brokerage leadership and running a small boutique brokerage. Small firms need a voice at the table.
Kristin Krieger
Century 21 Affiliated
Vision for GLAR
GLAR’s purpose is to support members and the communities they serve with resources that help them succeed with professionalism and integrity. Over the next three years, I would focus on growth, collaboration, and open communication among REALTORS®.
Where They See the Industry Headed
Technology, consumer expectations, and affordability will keep changing the industry, but REALTORS® will need to provide even more value through market knowledge, communication, and trusted guidance. Continued access to education, tools, and networking will help members at every career stage feel supported.
What They Bring to the Board
My experience serving buyers and sellers across rural and small-town markets, and successfully transitioning between brokerages, has taught me the value of collaboration, education, and flexibility. Much of my business comes from repeat clients and referrals, reflecting my focus on communication and relationships.
Kim Lundberg
Keller Williams Realty
Vision for GLAR
To help educate and guide REALTORS® to serve the public in the most honest, professional way.
Where They See the Industry Headed
More AI and technology influence, with a continued focus on teaching customer service in this new environment.
What They Bring to the Board
Six years of previous experience on the Board of Directors, and I am never afraid to ask questions or share my own opinion.
Troy Seyfert
Re/Max Real Estate Professionals
Vision for GLAR
GLAR’s purpose is to give members the tools and resources they need to help consumers achieve homeownership in a way that’s affordable, professional, and ethical. I would help guide that vision by being a proactive, outspoken voice for raising the standard of our profession, because our credibility is everything.
Where They See the Industry Headed
AI will be the biggest force shaping our industry over the next three years. GLAR needs to watch whether AI is helping or hurting data integrity, make sure the value of working with a real agent stays clear as companies push consumers toward AI tools, and lead on ethical standards for how AI is used to represent properties online.
What They Bring to the Board
Serving on the MLS board has taught me to speak up on problems before they are on everyone’s radar and to raise the uncomfortable conversations that matter for members and consumers, including local issues like property taxes that could affect the housing market.
Wanda R. Williams
Americas Dream Realty
Vision for GLAR
GLAR’s purpose is to promote homeownership by giving members the tools and guidance to accomplish that mission.
Where They See the Industry Headed
The industry will increasingly use AI to help agents focus on clients’ exact needs, more people will partner together to buy and share housing, and mixed-use development and zoning changes will expand affordable housing near jobs and amenities.
What They Bring to the Board
As an independent small brokerage, I bring a different perspective than larger corporate-owned companies and would build collaboration among smaller firms to make sure their needs are represented too.
